There are so many databases! How do I decide which one to use for my topic?

A great place to start is Bulldog One Search.  It allows you to search across all disciplines and limit within the database.  You should use Advanced Search for a more concise search. More information on searching Bulldog OneSearch can be found on the How do I search Bulldog OneSearch? page.

You can now limit by full text only, peer reviewed, date range, and more.

Here is a great video for limiting your search results.

You can also search by subject area.

Select Online Databases by Subject.

Then select the tab closest related to your field of study.

Remember that many subject areas may cross more than one discipline.  For example, in Education, behavioral issues might be under Psychology/Counseling, so you may need to look under various tabs as you explore your topic.

For a full list of our databases, click on Online Databases by Title.  It is the last tab.

Hover over each database title to see a full description of that database.
