I am looking for primary sources related to nursing. How do I know if the article I found is primary?

Primary sources in nursing are articles that include original research and studies such as clinical trials, for example. Sources such as review articles, newsletters, and patrient guidelines are considered secondary sources.

To find primary sources in CINAHL, choose Clinical Trial, and Randomized Controlled Trial from the Publication Type list in the Limit section on the database homepage. Hold the CTRL key or CMD key on a Mac, to select multiple items from the list.
