Do I have to pay to print in the library?

Printing/copying (in black and white), as well as scanning, are currently free services for all GWU students, faculty, and staff.

Printing/copying (in black and white) for community patrons (those who are NOT current GWU students, faculty or staff) is $0.10 per page (CASH payments ONLY). If a patron chooses double-sided printing (printing on both sides of the paper), that counts as two pages due to the amount of ink used for each side (thus, the charge would be $0.20). After printing/copying, community patrons must stop by the Circulation Desk to pay for their copies.

Color printing and copies are handled by the AV Department and there is a charge for this service. This service is only available to GWU students, faculty, and staff, NOT to community patrons. The AV Department is located on the main floor of the library across from the Circulation Desk. For more information, including a price list, please visit the AV Department LibGuide.
